Facebook's incentive is to sell as much information about you as they possibly can. They'll only stop at the point at which they think they're going to lose users. Despite all the outcries that happen whenever Facebook oversteps the mark around privacy, people don't seem to leave. So I think fundamentally that company believes it can get away with quite a lot.
