The Divide Between Africa and Europe
An inclusive climate future must consider how climate adaptive technologies and investment has historically skipped some nations. Moutiso points out that this energy apartheid has benefited countries in Europe and Asia while leaving many in Africa behind. As we think about the niceties of discussing climate change and solutions, injustice can continue to spread within these conversations if we're not intentional about combating it.
