Open Source the PageRank Algorithm?

The project is still active. And we are doing stuff and we have ideas. We kind of expanded on what could we open source because technically you can also open source data. I don't want to say it's difficult to convince people, but like if you wanted to open source the page rank algorithm, for example, probably if you go there without any good reason, they would say no. But if you can collect really good reasons to openSource the library, then after discussion, they would allow it.
