The Importance of Limiting Spending
I've been in favor of a spending limit based on just something like population growth plus inflation or something like that. The Democrats have consistently kept spending up. When the Republicans take office, they don't cut spending. What they do is cut taxes. If you cut taxes without cutting spending, those are deficits and deficits are future taxes. We're just increasing taxes on unborn generations who cannot possibly defend themselves. You want to be embarrassed. I used to write Rush Limbaugh. And one of the things I actually got Rush Limbaugh a couple of times to say on the air is that US policy is daft, DFT. Deficence are future taxes."
