Are We in the Room Where Decisions Are Made?

In the church of jesus christ, we have never had a problem with using derivatives of the word patriarchy. We have no qualms about labelling our organizational hierarchy as being male led. Why do latter day saint and men continue to cling to old ideas that deny history and data? Telling a woman what she does get is like telling women in the 19 fifties they got every blessing of a career through their father or husband. To quote the musical hamilton, are we in the room where it happens, where decisions are made? In our church, do women make even one decision that can't be overruled by a man?
