Time magazine was one of the main sources of anti british and anti war sentiment at the time in america. Stevenson developed the idea that if he could have someone seduce claire booth loose, they could blackmail her into softening his views. He thought rolled doll, the dashing fighter pilot, six feet six, a great talker and 13 years younger than clare booth loose, might be his best bet. The luses had an open marriage, and clare booth lose had already had several affairs,. including joseph kennedy and several other famous people.
