The Law of Trafficking, and Mind Control
Rigt: We have not had laws on the books for a long time. Since two thousand eight, we've had on the books where a trafficking survivor has a civil right of action against a company or individual that profits or benefits from their trafficking. That's how you dismantle these traf ors, as you take away their support systems, the businesses that can operate with them. So that's what we're attempting to do. It's not the only way, but it's one of the key factors, i think, one of the tools that we have to use.
