About 400 babies are born each year via surrogacy in Britain. It's becoming a lot more common than it once was because of the rise of gay male couple families. The increase means that the laws that relate to surrogates and parents are moving to keep up. By 2022, 540 of nearly 3,000 adoptions in England will be made by same-sex couples.

Today, the president will meet with the Republican leader in the house of representatives to try and prevent the country from defaulting. But what if they cannot come to an agreement?
