What Are the Practical Applications of the Zenypots?
Zimmerman: Zenypots are in vitro biological robots derived from the frog, Zempus labus. They can move around autonomously and custom designed through computer algorithms. He says once we really get better at controlling their behavior and their structure, you can imagine applications in the environment. "Once we crack that, an incredible amount of biological issues are going to get solved," he says.
