Why We See Things Separately From the Tree

The way we see things and how things really are are two different levels of truth or reality. We look at things through that lens of separateness. And therefore humans have created these definitions because it's useful to do it. It's just what the human mind does. Like I said, my nose smells things whether I want it to or not. When I eat something my taste buds will experience a sensation of yummy or gross or neutral whether I want them to ornot. My mind will take what I see, take what I perceive that will separate things into groups,. this and that.
