Isn't the Garden of Eden a Seduction to Nihilism?
Zarathustra, i think, sort of is implicitly referencing the obscure life of epicurus when he talks about how little is need needed to be happy. I mean, epicurus philosophy is also a form of return to the garden, in some sense. And while he's a figure that nitcha greatly admires, it was foolish to think only a little is sufficient for happiness, to think in those terms. This is nita's ultimate rejection of this romantic vision of happiness. Because, again, happiness is not something you rest in. You have to keep seeking after it.
