Iguasu Falls - The Triple Frontier

The Perna River basin is the second largest river basin in South America. The Iguasu Falls are a massive complex of individual waterfalls divided between Brazil and Argentina. They have been an area of colonial dispute between Spain and Portugal for centuries. In the 1970s, one of the largest infrastructure projects in South America starting there was the Teipu Dam.
