Ukraine appears to have made stunning progress retaking towns and territories in the east. President voledi merzalenski says his country's armed forces have regained more than 15 hundred square miles since launching a surprise counter offensive last week. The first town to be liberated was balaclia, 60 miles southeast of harkive - ukraine's second largest city.
