The number of first edition holographics in mint condition is just going to continue to dwindle. I think the supply will remain hot much higher than the Charizard Pokemon card. If you buy a Rolex sub mariner today, leave it in the box and don't touch it for 20 years. It will probably retain its value pretty well, particularly in mint condition.
