The Importance of Sharing Data
I think for me, the ultimate everyday example of this are like shared network drives in businesses. I used to work at a job where we had a team that did photography and post-production. And their shared drive bearing in mind, not all of the people were using it regularly, was a 120 terabyte file server. It was full to the brim with just utter crap. But then again, that old blurry photo might be the only photo that someone has of their dog or their grandfather or someone who has passed away.
