The Importance of Status in a Nation
In a country like the US, I think it's actually really not helpful to think about it in national terms. What you need is for each subculture to find its own way towards pronatalism. The reason that my subculture values children and sees them as high status might be different than some other subculture. Like secular Calvinism to me is like two of the worst words in the world. And you've put them together. You can't imagine something more distasteful to me as an ideal.
