Medicaid Expansion: The End of the Pandemic
The end of the public health emergency and things like the White House team being disbanded. One of the final big measures enacted against the pandemic itself that is going to be among the last things to go away. As many as 14.7 million adults and 7.3 million people under 19 will lose their Medicaid coverage in a process expected to last over the course of about a year. And we wanted to kind of talk about this, not just what's happening, but also why the way that it's put together is let's just say not ideal.
