CHAPTER

Isis Is a Stupid Idea?

One approach is to think we have some fully coherent and transparent model of the world, ar. But in fact people seem to be remarkably incoherent in therre actions. They do just do funny things that don't seem to make sense or are consistent with what they're supposed to like. And so i suppose the whole sort of idea that there's this kind ofam coherent, consistent model of reality within us, it's so basic, not just to our intuitions, but it's sobasic o to so many theoretical perspectives on the mind.
