Carpets and Dirty Floors
Carpets are fluffier and they can trap dirt more than a hardwood floor. Even though you can't see the dirt, it gets trapped inside the carpet. When I first moved into this house, the previous owners had a dog and they had carpets; we did not have a dog but the smell of the dog was trapped in the carpets.
