The Importance of Grace in the Church
The reality of sex differences should not lead to an over-simplistic view of the human individual person, says Pope Francis. "I think our language about the femininity or masculinity of the soul has to be carefully nuanced and qualified," he adds. Each parent uniquely contributes to a child's physical, spiritual, emotional, and psychological life in a way that is analogous to being a man or a woman. This is especially evident in each person's unique capacity to cooperate with divine grace.
