There are hurdles to getting California to a place where new gas powered cars can't be sold by 2035. The first is that they have to be able to make millions of electric vehicles. Plus, you've got to make them affordable so that the mass market can buy these cars. For such a big change, there's charging stations available, but not for millions and millions of EVs.
As California watches the impact of rising temperatures devastate its environment with brutal heat waves and raging fires, the state is taking increasingly far-reaching steps to combat climate change.
