Gladwell says talent and grit are two parts of an equation, and if you have grit, you can become world class. And that's where a lot of people get turned off by outliers - they're like, well, you're saying i can't be the best. I actually find outliers to be a very inspirational book. There's only ten seats on the olympic rowing team, but anybody could become world class at rowing. Ti has two points to throw on that before we move on to another topic.
