Moses and the Lord Are Held to a Higher Standard
Moses was not displeasing to the Lord. God loved Moses. But there also are consequences to our actions. And so here's Moses who in his responsibility, he failed that task. Nonetheless, he still was loved by the Lord. It just meant that he couldn't enter the promised land.
