The Differences Between Shadow Dark and 5e
The amount of experience you need in order to raise a level is 10 experience per level. So it takes more time to raise your level up at higher levels that means lower level characters are going to have an opportunity to catch up. There's definitely sort of the you know a lot of people call like a grim fantasy or dark fantasy more so than like heroic fantasy I don't really know the exact term for it but that style of game is definitely different tracking torches worrying about random encounters and how many arrows you're carrying actually matters toward the game.
