The Differences Between Human and Mouse Dendrites

Human dendrites are much more compartmentalized than mice. The compartments, they don't communicate with the cell body with the same strength as they do in a mouse. So you can think of them as having more parallel units if we are to think each part of the dendrite as an independent unit. That could be one reason why, you know, humans can do more difficult cognitive tasks if you correlate the number of parallel units in the mouse and the human.
