The Importance of Local Politics
I think a liberal democracy broadly as we have it in the West is one of the best forms of government when it's working properly and often it doesn't. The responsibility of the American citizen, then is to get involved in local politics. Citizens tend to kind of not really care about politics unless it's maybe presidential election every four years. It's rather that one side had it's been not participating enough and informing the public about what's what's happening.
