I Think It's a Combination of Bad Policy and Bad Messaging

i think part of this is bad policy. The idea that you can just announce that certain crimes aren't criminal any more is terrible. It sends a terrible message to the cops, cause they're confused about what they can and can't do. I don't know if jesaputin is responsible single handedly for the rising crime in san francisco,. But when crime is rising, to say we're going to re commit ourselves to doing the agenda of a few years ago feels like a political theatre. And i want to be very clear for your listeners, i'm a lifelong democrat. If we want ale ized prosetution, let's have that conversation.
