This chapter delves into the concept of frame rate in perception and its impact on our time perception, discussing how focus distance, duration, and environmental factors can influence our perception of time passing. It also touches on substances like psychedelics and caffeine that can alter our frame rate. Strategies to combat jet lag by aligning exposure to bright light with an individual's temperature minimum time are explored, along with tips on adjusting to new time zones when traveling.
Recently I had the pleasure of hosting a live event in Sydney, Australia. This event was part of a lecture series called The Brain Body Contract. My favorite part of the evening was the question and answer period, where I had the opportunity to answer questions from the attendees of each event. Included here is the Q&A from our event at the Sydney Opera House.
