Where Does Religion Fit In?
When i grew up in the evangelical world, there was no discussionof of pronouns. We would talk about sexual orientation, but gender identity wasn't something that had sort of gained cultural visibility. progressive religious communities have recognized a broader spectrum of gender identities for a longer time than have othera segments of the religious world. I want to affirm people, who am i to judge them? Ill use whatever pronouns they want. No problem. Who cares, right?"
