Is Bitcoin Giving You This Exorbitant Privilege?
In 2021, the United States generated roughly $3.9 trillion in direct tax receipts and an expansion of USM2 near the tune of $4.1 trillion. And so if I look at the average taxpayer, average US citizen was paying $10,500 in direct taxes to the US government as of that year. We could use that proxy and say you're probably also getting debased, your purchasing power is also getting debasing around $10,000. So it's a rough proxy, but again, you have to use a proxy here because inflation cannot be quantified specifically.
