General Practice in England Has Lost Nearly 500 GPs in the Last 12 Months to November 2022
The government likes to claim that the total number of doctors working in general practice has risen. But those aren't fully qualified GPs, otherwise known as GPs. And when you look at the number of fully qualified full-time equivalent GPs in England, that figure has dropped by about 2% over the past year.
