The Language That We Speak to Day
The language that we speak to day is unrecognizable from the english of chaucer, pretty unrecognizable from shakespeare. But it's now far more widely spoken than it ever was with chaucer dickens or shakespeare ram. The reason for this is probably the empire, british empire, you know, all over the world. And even though america wasn't part of the english empire, the british Empire, you still spoke english.
