The Relationship Between Mitosh and Pshot
i like to throw into the nex of the conversation here is that midrash and pshot. So historically, pshat is, you know, win the eleventh century or twelfth century. They both seem to have a psychological force to them, but one seems kind of fantastical. And the other still operates within the world of common understanding. I think it's certainly true that some people are more drawn to one and others to the other.
