Healthy Aggression - Can It Be Other Emotions?
Malon: I think if we wanted to conceptualize the example that you just gave in terms of healthy aggression, we could think of it as this child is expressing emotional needs. And they're afraid that their parent will be able to handle that. We don't have to use the word anger to describe something in Malon's model. We're talking about healthy aggression that's very, very broadly speaking, the needs of the individual and individual protecting the self.
