Green Energy - China's Greeting the BRI, Right?
CNN's John Defterios asks why China is moving the BRI so aggressively onto green energy. He points to a recent report that said China approved 15 gigawatts of new coal-fired power capacity in first half of 2022. That's valued at $26 to $33 billion in investment in both coal and steel, he says. "It's like peeing in one third of the pool," Defterios adds.
