How Did Eiffel Calhoun Become an Artist?

In 1933 Eiffel Calhoun fell in love with a woman and don't know the degree to which it was physically consummated. In 1939 she has kind of her big surrealist debut, then we also in private she does a whole series of sex magic pieces which were incredibly explicit. Her art was very in your face. She was clearly exploring polarity but not necessarily so she was exploring gendered polarity but with the idea that they did not have to take male and female forms.
