What Makes Art Good?

When an artist is being honest in their creation, you can feel that the piece was based on their life and the way that they see the world. It's clear that they're pulling influence from their truth, their feelings, their beliefs, their point of view. And those two things go hand in hand because I think honest art tends to evoke emotion in the person experiencing it. Some examples of how art can be honest would be a painting that kind of has a warped, weird look to it. Like it looks like the real world, but it looks a little warped. An example would be the famous painting, the scream or whatever it's called. It's like a warped version of reality
