It seems to be something that just happens in a system like this. You know you have people that are technical experts in firearms and then there's Parliament, which is tasked with legislating on the issue. Between that and trying to define things it sort of ends up being what seems to be an emotional based political issue if anything. So it's very deeply troubling and it leads to a situation where we're creating policy based on, you know, political motivations rather than the motivation that should be guiding this, which is public safety.
