Police were looking for a 23 year old convicted sex offender who later would be n as a person of interest in this case. Authorities also asked for help in locating john bartel, who they said was not a suspect. Bruce christianson had 17 criminal cases filed against him between the years of 19 97 and two thousand and six. He eventually went to prison for robbery, where he beat a fellow inmate to death with a piece of railing that he broke off in order to use as a weapon. All we know about him is that police said that he was known to travel between chis and the twin cities.
