The Differences Between English and English Language
Are there not things that English can't express about imagery? I don't know about qualia, so it could be that qualia don't behave in the way that I think they do. It could be that there's a whole different universality to them. Do you think that in principle you can fully, fully express the qualia of seeing a painting in English in principle? In principle, I would have thought so. And why do you not think that the same is true vice versa? Well, maybe it's a failure of my imagination, but if you, I can't imagine a way of expressing, say, a deep equation in physics in the form of a picture. The
