The Brain and the Psychedelic Experience
There's a few bits of evidence that suggests the brain, if you image the brain and brain function under a psychedelic, it looks like the brain in like an infant. It's less chopped up into specific modules doing specialized things. And similarly, when you activate this system later on in life, like an adulthood, you get something that's kind of different, but related to what you see in the embryonic brain. You see accelerated growth, but it's more at the synaptic level.
