The Cost of Network Effect

The idea is that landlords already pay in New York City brokers get paid by the searching tenants. The landlord pays on average about a month of rent for whoever's doing the releasing. "I'm not sure it's going to be the thing that buys me a Bugatti or anything like that, not that I want a Bugatti," he says.
