Is There a Difference Between a Commercial and a Commodity Producer?
The commercials in the stock indices have more flexibility and switching from bearish to bullish dances because unlike a commodity producer who depends on receiving enough revenues to cover their costs of production. A commercial player in stocks doesn't have the same limitation, which is why you see quite a quicker movement I think in the stock index CLT data a lot. In commodities when commercials get long it's a pretty loud message right. But the stock indices I just, you know, I take all this data with the COT and I you have to index it to itself right.
