Is It Time for Netflix to Have an Advertising Tier?
Reed Hastings is no longer the CEO of Netflix. He was wrong on ads, and it's clear now that they should have had an advertising tier sooner. Greg Peters, who's now in the top job, advocated for them to have an advertising tier. If you're the leader and you are proven wrong by your people, maybe that's a sign that it's time to move on. It seemed like there was a large group of Netflix executives that were pushing for it and Reed was opposed and they finally wore him down.
