The Death of Leslie Anne Downey
Leslie Anne Downey's body was found buried in a shallow grave the next day. Ian and Myra lured Edward Evans, 17, to their home with promises of sex. They straddled him while holding a hatchet above his head as he shrieked from the living room. David Smith had previously dated Pauline Reed, one of the victims. The pair then killed another gay man at Manchester Central Railway Station.
