Adidas was started by Adi Dazzler in Bavaria and Germany from his motor's kitchen. Nike has a little bit of an edge because there have been more superstars on the books, Michael Jordan being one. Adidas lost their trademark for 'tree stripes' which means they can no longer sell shoes with that logo. The company is also paying lower dividends than it did before COVID came along.
