Starbers Data Virtualization Engine

Starbers is a data virtualization vendor, but they don't call themselves that because of bad taste. The core engine itself is actually an open source project today known as Trino, but originally called Presto. So it had to be born at scale. It had to run at literally the largest scale imaginable. And there's periods of petabytes of data, thousands of concurrent queries.
