The End of the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 27
Leviticus, chapter 27 is a surprising end to the book. The blessings and curses of chapter 26 might have been a far more natural place to conclude. Taking such vows was a very solemn thing to do. In acts chapter five, ananias and sapphira lost their lives for lying to the lord concerning vowed property.
