Mat and David are shocked by the low first day attendance at Wimbledon. Mat says there were some empty seats throughout the day on centre court. The onlything that did occur me was or people just out of the habit of cuing. There haven't been ebls to do this since 20 19, no cueing in in 20 21. And every opening day since 20 11 has been above forty thousand. We can wildly speculate, but even that feels, i can't even really think of many potential reasons. You know, people are significantly poorer than they were in recent times, and wimbledon is expensive. But then does tend to be quite an affluent crowd. I wish it
