H S - Linking Between Full Pages
In h s, text was relatively free form. It was stored as variable length strings. A single line could be anywhere between one character and an entire page worth of words on screen. To make a link, you just had to specify where you wanted to insert the link. On screen, a user would see a mark where the link was. H s also stored where you jumped from, so it was trivial to go back up any trail you went down.
